I finally got to see Captain Marvel (waiting several weeks meant that me and Mrs Noded plus about five other people were in the theater). It was an excellent movie. I think I may have to place this right next to Guardians of the Galaxy as my favorites from Marvel. I’m not surprised to see Nicole Perlman as a writer for both movies. If you haven’t seen Captain Marvel yet, go do it.
Epcot Flower and Garden Show has already started. It runs until the beginning of June.
Spent the day at Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts. First time in a long time that I’ve been at Epcot when the weather didn’t try to melt my socks off.
Really big clock in the entrance to The Edison at Disney Spring. Unfortunately the last real decor in the restaurant.
Ate at The Edison at Disney Springs the other night. Was totally underwhelmed. The decor was mostly old curtains on cement walls and not much else. The main dining room tables were small, cheap, and the chairs uncomfortable. The service staff uniforms looked like they came from a thrift store and did nothing to help the lack of ambience. And the hamburger was $22.00 dollars and was dry, overpowered by the sauce, and not very good. The servers themselves were nice. At least the hostesses were dressed for the era. Probably not going there again.
