Crab Nebula

Beautiful visualization of the Crab Nebula 6500 light years from here. First observations of the supernova was in 1054 when it was bright enough to be seen in daylight. This is a mix of visible light, infrared, and x-ray telescopes.  From Hubble, Chandra and Spitzer.  We can do amazing things where we are not beating down each other.
